Purpose and description of the content of education:
The subject contains basic content that allows you to acquire the ability to navigate the legal environment related to artistic activity. The introduction to the subject is knowledge of the systematics of law, sources of copyright and the development of skills in their interpretation and methods of searching and updating. The main part of the subject presents the broadly understood intellectual property law, including copyright and related rights, with particular emphasis on artistic activity, taking into account ethical and social values. The detailed content of the subject will include, among others, the issues of the work and the author, the differences between personal and property copyrights, contracts, the issue of plagiarism, quotation, the limits of imitation, fair use and mechanisms of intellectual property protection.
