Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module's content revolves around deepening the reflection on postmodern culture, with particular emphasis on selected issues of postmodern art theory and leading interpretative concepts from the twentieth century and postmodernity regarding works of art. It focuses on the most representative methodologies and interpretative strategies relevant to contemporary understanding of culture and artistic practice (multiparadigmaticity, participatory nature, interactivity). A specific closure of this issue is linked to the presentation of the so-called 'cultural turn' in the humanities, highlighting a new cognitive-interpretative plane and the status of cultural studies as foundational sciences.
