Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of the module is to convey knowledge about the most important theoretical concepts and terminology that allow for the description and critical assessment of culture-creating outputs of human activity. Consequently, the student knows the types and principles of functioning of cultural institutions. The student analyzes cultural phenomena in the context of their social, symbolic, and communicative significance.
