Purpose and description of the content of education:
W ramach modułu student zdobędzie wiedzę związaną z fenomenem kulturowym jaki od wieków stanowi książka. Realizacja modułu sprawi, że student posiądzie wiedzę dotyczącą szeroko rozumianej ewolucji funkcji książki i jej miejscu w przestrzeni badawczej. Przy rozbudowywaniu wiedzy pogłębi swój zasób terminologiczny z zakresu poruszanych zagadnień. Poprzez omówienie wybranych tematów student pozna i zrozumie także relacje i miejsce książki (jako przedmiotu badawczego) w naukach o kulturze, bibliologii i naukach jej pokrewnych. Będzie potrafić krytycznie oceniać literaturę przedmiotu.

student na podstawie uzyskanej wiedzy, potrafi samodzielnie skonstruować warsztat badań bibliologicznych oraz – wykorzystując różne typy źródeł – potrafi wskazać a także zdobywać wiedzę dotyczącą tematyki bibliologicznej. Umiejętność ta jest jednym z podstawowych narzędzi wykorzystywanych przez studentów do dalszego, samodzielnego i profesjonalnego rozwijania swojej wiedzy, umiejętności i kompetencji społecznych [KZK01_3]

student zna terminologię stosowaną w naukach zajmujących się książką. Zapoznaje się więc także z podstawami metodologii nauk humanistycznych i wykorzystywanymi przez nie specjalistycznymi technikami badawczymi. Ponadto, student dysponuje wiedzą o lokalizacji bibliologii w systemie nauk humanistycznych i jej relacjach z innymi dyscyplinami naukowymi. [KZK01​_1]

student ma wiedzę o piśmiennictwie odnoszącym się do książki i nauk o książce. W ramach zajęć styka się z najistotniejszymi pracami z dziedziny (zarówno publikacjami zwartymi, jak i czasopismami).
