Purpose and description of the content of education:
W ramach modułu studenci zdobędą wiedzę z zakresu kształtowania się form książki drukowanej od XIX do XXI wieku oraz kultury książki tego okresu. Poznają zagadnienia obiegu książki nowoczesnej: autorzy, nakładcy, drukarze, cenzura, bibliofile, introligatorzy, instytucje kultury książki. W wyniku realizacji modułu student będzie potrafił także posłużyć się terminologią, związaną z ewolucją książki i zastosować ją do opisu procesów bibliologicznych, pojmowanych w aspekcie kierunków rozwoju nauki o książce oraz wiedzy z nauk humanistycznych i społecznych.
