Purpose and description of the content of education: | W ramach modułu studenci zdobędą wiedzę dotyczącą dziejów, zasad organizacji i funkcjonowania księgozbiorów historycznych, jako ważnego elementu dziedzictwa kulturowego, ujmowanych w kontekście między innymi w kontekście bibliologicznym, historycznym, wiedzy o kulturze i sztuce. Realizacja modułu pozwoli na poznanie kulturowej historii bibliotek różnych typów w Polsce i na świecie, w tym na charakterystykę modelu budowania kolekcji dziedzictwa (gromadzenia, opracowania, przechowywania, udostępniania i konserwacji zbiorów). Przedstawione będą cechy charakterystyczne różnych typów księgozbiorów (np. bibliotek kościelnych, władców, prywatnych, fundacyjnych czy publicznych). Omówione będą najważniejsze style architektoniczne i programy ikonograficzne oraz wyposażenie bibliotek na przykładzie księgozbiorów historycznych ważnych dla dziedzictwa kulturowego Europy. Ponadto studenci posiądą wiedzę dotyczącą opraw historycznych i innych znaków własnościowych, a także pozna zasady badania instytucji związanych z historią bibliotek. Przy rozbudowywaniu wiedzy pogłębi swój zasób terminologiczny z zakresu poruszanych zagadnień. Będzie potrafić krytycznie oceniać literaturę przedmiotu i identyfikować wytwory kultury. |

Students have their knowledge about the functioning of historical book collections, their creators, and their users, as well as their role in the processes of communication and the creation of cultural heritage. They will learn from a chronological and problematic perspective the types of libraries, models of their creation and architectural styles used in the construction and equipment of libraries throughout history.
