Purpose and description of the content of education:
Zajęcia z reżyserii filmu fabularnego syntetyzują wiedzę związaną z różnym elementami rzemiosła i sztuki reżyserskiej, zdobytą przez studentów w toku całych studiów. Synteza ta zgodnie z naturą nauki ma swoje etapy. Pierwsze dwa semestry poświęcone są na nauczanie podstaw inscenizacji, pracy z aktorem i filmowej dramaturgii. Poprzez szereg krótkich ćwiczeń studenci budują zręby reżyserskiego rzemiosła, uczą się samodzielnego myślenia i odpowiedzialności za powstały film. Etap ten kończy się praktycznym sprawdzianem – krótką etiudą z cyklu „Nieme kino”. Semestr trzeci i czwarty rozwijają nabyte umiejętności ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem pracy nad adoptowanym tekstem literackim, będącym tworzywem prac praktycznych, oraz filmową narracją. Semestr piąty i szósty, kończące kurs licencjacki, sumują zdobytą wiedzę, pozwalając studentom na końcu drogi zrealizować autorski, krótkometrażowy film fabularny. Celem kursu reżyserii filmu fabularnego 5 i 6, jest zebranie w całość i praktyczne sprawdzenie wiedzy oraz umiejętności, pozwalających na realizację według autorskiego scenariusza krótkometrażowego filmu fabularnego / 12-15 minut /. Szczególny nacisk kładziony jest na doskonalenie i inscenizacji, kreowanie autorskiej wizji plastycznej oraz pracę z aktorem. Istotą zajęć jest nieustanna wymienność teorii i praktyki. Na każdym etapie teoria konfrontowana jest z pracą praktyczną, której efekt ponownie poddawany jest weryfikacji teorii. Podstawą modułu jest obowiązkowe uczestnictwo każdego ze studentów w pełnym procesie przygotowania, realizacji i postprodukcji własnego filmu. Rozłożona w czasie, wielowątkowa, zmieniająca nieustannie pola koncentracji praca, przybliża do realnych wyzwań planu filmowego. Horyzontem realizacji modułu jest, ukazanie krótkiej formy fabularnej, jako twórczego połączenia różnych elementów sztuki filmowej / scenariusz, praca z aktorem, inscenizacja, zdjęcia, montaż i dźwięk/
