Purpose and description of the content of education:
Podstawowym celem kursu reżyserii filmowej na magisterskich studiach uzupełniających jest rozszerzenie wiedzy, umiejętności i kompetencji nabytych na studiach licencjackich, na filmy średnio i pełnometrażowe. Istota zmiany nie leży, rzecz jasna, wyłącznie w długości filmu. Zwiększony dystans wymusza nowe podejście do podstawowych elementów reżyserskiego rzemiosła : dramaturgii, narracji, konstrukcji i rytmu. Zmienia momenty kulminacji, wydłuża psychologiczne przebiegi rozwoju postaci, każe operować sekwencjami i aktami. Dłuższy film to także większą ilość dni zdjęciowych, a co za tym idzie wzrastająca rola kondycji fizycznej i psychicznej reżysera. Umiejętność rozłożenia sił, zdolność do długiego przebywania w jednej grupie twórczej, rozwiązywania nieuchronnych konfliktów- to elementy warsztatu reżysera, które w średnim i pełnym metrażu nabierają podstawowego znaczenia . Ośrodkiem modułu Reżyseria filmu fabularnego 1, 2 jest przygotowanie, realizacja i postprodukcja 30 minutowego filmu fabularnego. W trakcie zajęć rozwijane są scenariusz i scenopis filmu, ustalana obsada, wizja plastyczna oraz założenia techniczne. Próbowane są także z aktorami pojedyncze sceny z planowanego filmu. Następnym etapem jest realizacja przez każdego z uczestników kursu swego filmu. Studenci dobierają się w szkolne trójki realizatorskie – reżyser, operator, kierownik produkcji - i pod opieką merytoryczną prowadzącego kurs pracują na planie. Film jest montowany i udźwiękowiony pod nadzorem realizatora.O ile ośrodkiem modułu jest praca nad własnym filmem, to jego horyzontem jest rozwijanie umiejętności współpracy z członkami ekipy realizującej film : ze scenografem, charakteryzatorem, kostiumografem, z grupą oświetlaczy, czy wreszcie ze specjalistami od postprodukcji – kolorystami, montażystami dźwięku i obrazu, oraz kompozytorami muzyki filmowej.

Student zna teorie scenariopisarstwa. Potrafi napisać oryginalny scenariusz 30 minutowej etiudy fabularnej. Zna specyfikę dialogu filmowego. Posiada umiejętności umożliwiające współpracę z profesjonalnym scenarzystą. [FAB2_1]

Student zna różne metody pracy z aktorem. Potrafi zrealizować przewidziane scenariuszem zadanie aktorskie. Jest przygotowany do zanalizowania i przeprowadzenia psychologicznego przebiegu postaci w 30-minutowym filmie fabularnym. Potrafi zrealizować zdjęcia próbne. Zna prawidła rządzące profesjonalnym castingiem. [FAB2_2]

Student, współpracując z operatorem, scenografem i kostiumografem, potrafi stworzyć spójną wizję plastyczną swego filmu. Potrafi narysować uproszczony storyboard. [FAB2_3]

Student swobodnie inscenizuje, współpracuje z operatorem, oraz całą grupą twórczą na planie filmowym. Potrafi pracować w zespole. Demonstruje odporność na stres związany z pracą na planie filmowym. Posiada wiedzę o strukturze profesjonalnej ekipy filmowej, zna obowiązki i rozumie charakter funkcji spełnianych przez członków ekipy. [FAB2_4]
