Purpose and description of the content of education:
Na drugim poziomie kształcenia w obszar naszych zainteresowań trafiają obrzeża głównego nurtu sztuki dokumentalnej. Synkretyzm rodzajowy, przenikanie się gatunków – dokumentu z animacją czy fabułą. Śledzimy tendencje rozwojowe dokumentu na świecie. Poszukiwanie obszarów nowych wyzwań dla dokumentu i w zakresie tematycznym i formalnym. Studenci w czasie ćwiczeń praktycznych mogą sobie pozwolić na daleko idący eksperyment w tym gatunku filmowym, zachowując oczywiście standard etyczny wynikający z pracy na niefikcyjnej rzeczywistości. Studenci mają również za zadanie opracowanie wiedzy praktycznej koniecznej do przetrwania w zawodzie czyli rozeznanie możliwości pozyskiwania funduszy, dystrybucji, jak również przygotowanie strategii festiwalowej. Omawia się także możliwe twórcze konsekwencje pracy w zagranicznej koprodukcji producenckiej. Cały czas doskonalone są wszystkie umiejętności o których mowa była we wcześniejszych modułach.

Studenci są obznajomieni z możliwościami szukania finansowania produkcji w krajowych instytucjach i funduszach a także w szansach szukania koproducentów i finansowego wsparcia z zagranicy w dziedzinie filmu dokumentalnego. [DOK2_1]

Student posiada umiejętność używania niestandardowych rozwiązań obrazowych jak również dźwiękowych i montażowych środków wyrazu do tworzenia opowiadania w zakresie filmu dokumentalnego. [DOK2_2]

Student posiada umiejętność analizowania i oceniania rzeczywistości profilmowej pod kątem możliwości jej przedstawienia w filmie dokumentalnym. Potrafi sporządzić odpowiednią dokumentację tematu przed przestąpieniem do realizacji projektu. [DOK2_4]

Student posiada umiejętność pracy z niefikcyjnym - zarówno indywidualnym, jak zbiorowym - bohaterem filmu dokumentalnego. W zależności od sytuacji potrafi modyfikować swoje podejście do tego bohatera i elastycznie zmieniać swoje pierwotne założenia dotyczące realizowanego projektu. [DOK2_5]
