Purpose and description of the content of education:
Zajęcia poświęcone szeroko rozumianej dystrybucji czyli procesom jakie prowadzą do zaistnienia filmu na rynku. Celem zajęć jest zapoznanie studentów z zagadnieniami dotyczącymi tradycyjnego modelu dystrybucji z podziałem na okna dystrybucyjne, jak również ze zmianami tego modelu wynikającymi z faktu pojawienia się platform streamingowych oraz nieznanych wcześniej pól eksploatacji. Zajęcia pokażą różnicę we wchodzeniu na rynek filmu o potencjale festiwalowym i filmu komercyjnego. Omówione zostanie pozyskiwanie agenta sprzedaży i/lub dystrybutora. Zajęcia obejmą analizę materiałów promocyjnych filmu w przypadku dystrybucji zagranicznej i jej porównanie do materiałów używanych w Polsce. Omówiony zostanie także sposób budowy strategii festiwalowej, metody badania rynku, dyktat box office oraz oczekiwania widowni.
