Purpose and description of the content of education:
Zakres przedmiotu obejmuje 6 zagadnień z zakresu podstaw makroekonomii. Są one następujące: 1. Przedmiot i metodologia makroekonomii - obszar badawczy makroekonomii - makroekonomia a mikroekonomia - ekonomia normatywna a ekonomia pozytywna - metody badań ekonomicznych. Modele makroekonomiczne 2. Główne kategorie rachunku makroekonomicznego - produkt krajowy brutto i dochód narodowy - nominalny a realny PKB - czynniki wzrostu dochodu narodowego i problem jego podziału - mierniki poziomu rozwoju gospodarczego 3. Pieniądz i polityka monetarna - pieniądz i jego funkcje - podaż pieniądza i popyt na pieniądz - równowaga na rynku pieniężnym - stopa procentowa i czynniki je określające - system stałych i zmiennych kursów walutowych 4. Rynek pracy i bezrobocie - popyt na pracę i podaż pracy oraz czynniki je określające - równowaga na rynku pracy - przyczyny i rodzaje bezrobocia - naturalna a rzeczywista stopa bezrobocia - społeczne i gospodarcze skutki bezrobocia 5. Inflacja - istota, przyczyny i rodzaje inflacji - mierniki inflacji - inflacja a bezrobocie – krzywa A.W. Phillipsa - koszty inflacji i sposoby jej obniżania 6. Wahania koniunkturalne w gospodarce rynkowej - cykl koniunkturalny a wzrost gospodarczy - klasyczny a współczesny cykl koniunkturalny - teorie przyczyn wahań cyklicznych - metody oddziaływania państwa na przebieg cyklu koniunkturalnego - kryzysowe doświadczenia w światowej gospodarce w ostatnim okresie
