Purpose and description of the content of education:
Osoba studiująca w ramach pracy indywidualnej pod kierunkiem mentora (tutoring) poszerza wiedzę i umiejętności z wybranego działu chemii, z naciskiem na umiejętne prowadzenie pracy badawczej, korzystanie z literatury naukowej i elektronicznych baz danych oraz opracowanie i prezentację wyników badań. Moduł ma na celu rozwijanie praktycznych umiejętności pracy laboratoryjnej (np. zapoznawanie się z zasadami dobrej praktyki laboratoryjnej, analitycznej i produkcyjnej; przygotowanie próbek do pomiaru, prowadzenie i planowanie reakcji syntez złożonych preparatów, zapoznawanie się z aparaturą badawczą i pomiarową i jej możliwościami). Osoba ucząca się uczy się korzystania z fachowego oprogramowania i języków programowania (w przypadku obrania zadań o charakterze obliczeniowym). Zajęcia w ramach modułu mają na celu wpojenie konieczności krytycznego spojrzenia na uzyskane wyniki i nauczenie identyfikacji potencjalnych błędów w stosowanej procedurze. W ramach zajęć osoba ucząca się opracowuje wyniki swoich badań naukowych w formie pisemnej oraz prezentuje je w formie ustnej. Bierze czynny udział w debacie.
