Purpose and description of the content of education:
The subject "Environmental Conditioning of Human Economic Activity" is an interdisciplinary introduction to the complex relationships between the natural environment and various forms of human economic activity. The course examines how environmental factors (such as natural resources, climatic conditions, terrain, biodiversity) affect the location, nature and efficiency of economic activity at various spatial scales. At the same time, the subject examines the reverse effect - how economic activity (including industry, agriculture, transport, tourism) affects the environment, leading to changes in ecosystems, pollution, resource degradation and climate change. Particular emphasis is placed on identifying spatial and environmental conflicts resulting from this interaction and on finding sustainable solutions that take into account both economic needs and environmental protection.
