Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the subject is to familiarize the student with the basics of tourism geography, including: basics of tourism typology; factors determining the development of tourism, with particular emphasis on natural, economic, political and cultural factors; aspects of the sociology of travel; cultural diversity of the world; functions of tourism in the contemporary world; main directions and destinations of travel; consequences of tourism for the natural environment and the importance of tourism for the economic markets of selected regions. |
