Purpose and description of the content of education: | Celem modułu jest zdobycie przez studiującego wiedzy i umiejętności w zakresie zastosowań macierzy w analizie danych. W szczególności na zajęciach zostaną poruszone treści dotyczące przekształceń liniowych ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem wartości i wektorów własnych i ich zastosowań m.in. w diagonalizacji macierzy. Studenci zostaną zapoznani z różnymi metodami faktoryzacji macierzy np. LU czy QR, które pozwolą poznać nowe metody rozwiązywania układów równań liniowych. W czasie zajęć zostaną również przedstawione wiadomości dotyczące form dwuliniowych i ich macierzy. Mianowicie studenci poznają techniki wyznaczania baz prostopadłych, czy zastosowania macierzy ortogonalnych i dodatniej określoności macierzy.
