Purpose and description of the content of education:
The subject "Qualitative Methods in Psychology" is designed to introduce students to the field of qualitative research techniques used in psychology. Training in this area is aimed at developing the ability to conduct in-depth, individualized research that takes into account the subjective experiences of the subjects. The main content of the course includes an introduction to qualitative methods, an understanding of their goals and objectives, and their use in research practice. Students will learn about various techniques such as interviews, observations, case studies and content analysis. They will have the opportunity to learn and practice qualitative data analysis techniques, such as open and axial coding, as well as understand the ethical issues associated with these methods. The goal of the course, therefore, is to develop the competencies necessary to conduct qualitative psychological research, enabling a deeper understanding of human experience and behavior.
