Purpose and description of the content of education:
Celem modułu jest przygotowanie studentek i studentów do pracy z osobami doświadczającymi objawów psychosomatycznych. W ramach modułu przedstawiona zostanie pogłębiona wiedza z zakresu biologicznych i psychologicznych czynników ryzyka, mechanizmów rozwoju chorób psychosomatycznych i ich konsekwencji psychospołecznych. Studentki i studenci uczą się wykorzystywać wiedzę z zakresu psychoneuroimmunologii i stresu do oceny funkcjonowania pacjenta i zaplanowania stosownych interwencji. Ponadto uczą się dokonywać oceny roli czynników ryzyka w rozwoju chorób psychosomatycznych oraz dostrzegać mechanizmy psychologiczne leżące u ich podłoża. Studentki i studenci pogłębiają też znajomość wybranych form oddziaływań psychologicznych wobec osób chorych psychosomatycznie, a także ćwiczą umiejętności skutecznego komunikowania się ze środowiskiem medycznym przy wykorzystaniu psychologicznych kategorii opisu problemów pacjenta.
