Purpose and description of the content of education:
Celem przedmiotu jest zapoznanie studentów z podstawowymi definicjami, terminologią i koncepcjami związanymi z jakością oraz tendencjami we współczesnym bibliotekarstwie zmierzającymi do mierzenia jakości. Student pozna metody zarządzania jakością w bibliotekach oraz instrumenty diagnozowania jakości usług w otoczeniu wewnętrznym i zewnętrznym placówki, rozpozna praktyczne działania bibliotek w tym zakresie. Przedmiot pozwoli ukazać studentowi znaczenie jakości w bibliotekach, potrzebę zarządzania jakością i dbania o dobry wizerunek biblioteki we współczesnym świecie.
