Purpose and description of the content of education:
W trakcie drugiego semestru seminarium magisterskiego podstawowym celem jest poznanie dzieł metodologicznych traktujących o metodach badań, dokonanie wyboru własnych metod, a także gruntowne badanie źródeł i gromadzenie informacji faktograficznej, statystycznej lub innej. Student krytycznie interpretuje dzieła poruszające wybrane aspekty analizowanego problemu badawczego. Na podstawie lektury przygotowuje pierwszą wersję wstępu do rozprawy magisterskiej, w którym wyznacza zakres zadania, wstępnie charakteryzuje stan badań oraz opisuje wybrane przez siebie metody i techniki badawcze. Ponadto redaguje pierwszy rozdział pracy (o charakterze historycznym bądź teoretyczno-terminologicznym).

Student poznał podstawowe publikacje z zakresu metodologii badań typowych dla nauk humanistycznych oraz specyficznych dla bibliologii i informatologii, subdyscyplin oraz nauk pokrewnych. [SMMO02_1]
