Purpose and description of the content of education: | This course is a compulsory subject for the specialization in Electroradiology. During the classes, students acquire skills in performing CT scans, MRI scans, and mammography.
The following examinations are covered:
Diagnostic mammography
Chest CT
Abdominal and pelvic CT
Angio-CT
Head MRI
Spine MRI
Abdominal cavity MRI
Musculoskeletal MRI
During the practical classes conducted in Radiology Departments, students learn how to position patients for various examinations and adjust exposure parameters appropriately. They also become familiar with the use of shielding for patient protection.
The course concludes with a summary of knowledge related to radiological techniques.
Students are expected to engage in independent study using textbooks and atlases. |
