ECTS credits: | 3 |
Purpose and description of the content of education: | During lectures on pathophysiology, students familiarize themselves with groups of diseases diagnosed using specific imaging methods:
Traumatic changes (e.g., fractures, dislocations)
Inflammatory diseases (e.g., pneumonia, arthritis)
Neoplastic changes (e.g., tumors)
Degenerative diseases (e.g., osteoarthritis, Alzheimer's disease)
Each specific disease is discussed in relation to organs and systems.
During laboratory sessions, students acquire skills in recognizing various disease entities occurring within specific organ systems. They engage in independent study using lecture materials and recommended textbooks. |
