Purpose and description of the content of education:
During the lectures, students learn about: Organization of X-ray diagnostic and imaging laboratories Overview of applicable atomic law Principles of patient radiation protection Types of imaging examinations Use of contrast agents Possibilities of complications after contrast administration and appropriate procedures Specifics of pediatric imaging Familiarization with patient positioning for X-ray imaging of the upper and lower limbs, skull and facial bones, spine, chest, and abdominal cavity Contrast studies of the gastrointestinal and urinary systems Mammographic examinations Types of CT examinations and their implementation Types of MRI examinations and their implementation Students are expected to engage in independent work with lecture materials and recommended textbooks.
