Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the lecture is to introduce students to the elements of special relativity and the classical theory of electromagnetic field based on the covariant formulation of Maxwell's equations in Minkowski spacetime. The aim of the classes is to acquire the skills of analyzing problems of classical field theory, particularly in electrodynamics and electro- and magnetostatics, using Maxwell's equations. |
