Specialized Laboratory Field of study: Physics
Programme code: W4-S1FZ19.2025

Module name: Specialized Laboratory
Module code: W4-FZ-S1-6-23-27B
Programme code: W4-S1FZ19.2025
Semester: summer semester 2027/2028
Language of instruction: Polish
Form of verification: course work
ECTS credits: 9
Purpose and description of the content of education:
In the laboratory, students participate in specialized experiments in the field of subatomic physics, atomic and molecular physics, or condensed matter physics. Compared to the Physics Laboratory II module, the Specialized Laboratory allows for a deeper exploration of a selected branch of experimental physics at the expense of a wider range of learned methods. During the course, students will perform experiments in specialized laboratories using advanced measurement systems and collect data necessary to prepare scientific reports. They analyze and discuss the obtained results with the calculation of measurement uncertainties.
