Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module details and extends the knowledge of optical dispensing, in particular varifocal and specialized spectacle lenses, as well as making individual visual aids in the form of corrective glasses based on a prescription and individual measurements of the patient. During the course, the student will get acquainted with the optical tolerances adopted when making visual aids. During the classes, students will learn about the subject of correction with specialized and varifocal lenses. As part of the module, the student will also gain knowledge and skills in the field of correction of large vision defects and anisometropia. During laboratory classes, students will gain the skills of dimensioning and making advanced visual aids.
