Purpose and description of the content of education: | The classes of this module assume practical verification of all field studies and direct observations designed in the core curriculum of geography in secondary school, i.e. astronomical, soil, geological and geomorphological, hydrological, landscape and cartographic observations using appropriate didactic means. |

he/she is able to use the advantages of the place of residence to address such issues as: climate (local, microclimate), water resources,river system, use of natural resources, erosion, denudation, accumulation processes, soil-forming processes, settlement processes, demographic, social and cultural changes. He/she is prepared to use research methods such as: interviews, surveys, cartographic analysis and the use of information and communication and geoinformation technologies to acquire and create spatial data sets, analyze and present them. He/she is prepared to conduct observations, document their results, conduct interviews and research using a survey questionnaire, collect source materials, study visits to a selected industrial or service enterprise. These classes aim at students discovering the relationships between elements of the nearest geographical space and then determining the significance and impact of these relationships on the nearest environment. He/she is also prepared to use simple methods and tools of field research and support them in independent or group work. This activity will allow students to see, using the example of their immediate surroundings, not only the connections that occur in the geographical environment, but also to recognize problems related to its rational development and use and to prepare for conscious participation in solving them [W2-GF-S2-1303.1 _4] |
