Purpose and description of the content of education:
The student learns about the types of maps and reference databases of the National Spatial Information System and national thematic maps and thematic databases, and is also able to indicate their application in landscape studies. The student becomes familiar with spatial data models. The student acquires the ability to perform various operations on vector and raster data. Is able to convert between individual spatial data models. The student has the ability to perform basic analyses of the distribution of landscape elements. Is able to select appropriate methods for presenting phenomena on a map and designs maps.
