Purpose and description of the content of education: | The Mobile Geoinformation Systems module is intended to enable students to become familiar with the basic principles of operation and use of field techniques for obtaining, processing and visualizing information about the geographical environment. It indicates the relationships between mobile geoinformation systems and other fields of knowledge and application techniques. It familiarizes students with modern geolocation methods based on both satellite systems and terrestrial techniques and their use to obtain information about the terrain. It familiarizes students with applications used in work with mobile devices. It provides skills in using mobile tools, processing data using them, performing spatial analyses and transferring geoinformation between mobile and stationary systems. It provides information on the possibilities of innovative applications of mobile geoinformation systems in the economy, management, administration, education, science and others. |
