Purpose and description of the content of education: | The module introduces students to selected directions of transformation of cities and villages. The issues include: urban regions, transformation of city functions and methods of their measurement, degradation and restoration of centers, divided cities, smart cities, transformation of cities under the influence of industrialization and development of services, gentrification processes and spatial transformations and contemporary settlement processes in rural areas. |
