Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module familiarizes students with the legal basis, organization and functioning of local government units, including the hierarchical approach. The issues include the following: The local government system in Poland and Europe; competences of bodies and tasks of local government units; organizational and legal basis for the functioning of local governments; income and expenditure of local governments.
