Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module aims to introduce the student to the issue of tourism economy, allows to learn the necessary tools and methods, enabling meeting the needs and expectations of contemporary tourists in such areas as: tourist information, providing access to tourist attractions, gastronomy, hotel industry, transport, as well as others responsible for the development of the tourism market. Additionally, the module addresses the topic of post-industrial cultural heritage, which is closely related to the tourism economy in post-industrial areas.
