Purpose and description of the content of education:
The learning outcomes achieved within the course module concern knowledge, skills and social competences related to the knowledge and application in professional work of the most important legal acts regulating the use of rainwater, seawater, surface water and groundwater in Poland, the European Union and beyond its borders. Particular attention is paid to the provisions of Polish legislation (acts, implementing acts) concerning the water environment and its use, implementing many European Union directives within the scope of their regulation and taking into account the recommendations of international global arrangements (conventions, protocols). The considered scenarios of legal conditions for the use of water concern their natural and landscape significance, recreational significance, nature conservation significance, socio-economic significance, e.g. water supply, fish farming and other aquatic organisms, electricity production, raw material acquisition, use in transport, military and defence functions, settlement and municipal significance, etc.
