Purpose and description of the content of education: | During lectures, students learn about: extreme phenomena in hydrology – the subject and scope of research; hydrological consequences of earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, tornadoes, cyclones, mass movements, collisions of Earth with space objects; extreme floods and droughts – causes and effects. |
