Purpose and description of the content of education: | The student becomes familiar with the conditions, causes and effects of spatial chaos. Is able to forecast socio-economic effects with particular emphasis on the quality of life of residents. Is familiar with the possibilities of preventing and repairing spatial chaos. Is familiar with the role of social participation in landscape management. The participation of society in the planning process, the process of adopting protection plans for protected areas will be discussed. Aspects related to conflicts in the above processes will also be included in combination with the issues of negotiation and mediation. In addition, the student becomes familiar with methods of monitoring the effects of changes in spatial development using landscape metrics. Is able to select appropriate metrics for specific research goals. The student acquires the ability to assess the similarity of the spatial structure of landscapes, landscape changes over time and the degree of anthropogenic transformation of the landscape. Is familiar with various sources of financing for projects in the field of landscape protection and shaping. |
