Purpose and description of the content of education: | The optional module consists of subjects related to theoretical familiarization of students with the landscape diversity of the world and Poland. The student acquires knowledge about the transformation of landscapes in the world and Poland. He/she learns about the possibilities of the directions of their further changes, forecasts
the landscapes of the future. Analyzes examples of landscapes with varying degrees of transformation, e.g. landscapes subject to protection, rural and urban landscapes changed by anthropogenics, degraded landscapes requiring revitalization. The student becomes familiar with case studies of landscapes from
all over the world (typological approach and approach in terms of landscape changes). The student acquires the ability to characterize the landscape diversity of the world. Additionally, the student becomes familiar with the current legal conditions regarding landscape protection and the role of landscape education in shaping the landscape. Learns about methods, techniques and tools used in landscape education at various levels of education. |
