Purpose and description of the content of education: | The module is intended to enable students to become familiar with selected paleobotanical and paleozoological methods used in the study of Quaternary sediments. Students will receive basic information on the subject, research procedures, basic interpretation and principles of presentation of results of malacological analysis and analysis of macroscopic remains. Students will gain practical skills helpful in identifying more common remains of molluscs and aquatic and marsh plants using keys, comparative preparations, photographs and iconographic sets. |
