Purpose and description of the content of education: | The learning outcomes of lectures and laboratory classes are identified with detailed knowledge on identifying, diagnosing and forecasting global changes in the natural environment. Lectures and various forms of laboratory classes serve to acquire knowledge, skills and social competences. In the case of lectures, they are identified with knowledge of important problems of the natural environment in the global aspect:
threats from space and the role of the protective layers of the Earth, changes in the forest surface on the globe, desertification and erosion of soils, greenhouse effect, ozone depletion, ENSO, air and water pollution, water excess and deficit, effects of seismic and tectonic phenomena, use of mineral resources - renewable and non-renewable resources, waste, the problem of food - natural aspects. In laboratory classes, the learning outcomes refer to global environmental problems implemented in several thematic blocks: Celestial body impacts – Earth collisions, Earth's protective shells, Deforestation, Desertification, Greenhouse gases, Ozone depletion. |
