Purpose and description of the content of education: | Module provides advance knowledge about contemporary issues in the fields of human geography which are: economic geography, social geography, cultural geography, political geography, historical geography and geography of settlement, as well as about relations between them in the global context. During the course, students become acquainted with research methods of human geography and will learn how to interpret socio-economic phenomena. They will also acquire skills of collecting, selecting and processing of socio-economic data with the use of GIS tools. |
