Purpose and description of the content of education:
The subject "Geography of Tourism" is a comprehensive study of the spatial differentiation of tourist phenomena in a geographical perspective. As part of the subject, students will become familiar with the theory and practice of tourism geography, including the analysis of the tourist attractiveness of regions, spatial differentiation of tourist traffic and the impact of tourism on the environment and society. Students will become familiar with key concepts such as tourist space, tourist attractions, tourist infrastructure and sustainable development of tourism. The subject is interdisciplinary in nature, combining elements of geography, economics, sociology and tourism management.
