Purpose and description of the content of education: | Optional module I is an introduction to various aspects of physical geography. The aim of the course is to deepen students' knowledge of the fundamental processes that shape the Earth's natural environment, such as geomorphological processes (erosion, denudation), hydrological cycles, climate dynamics, soil formation and evolution, and the functioning of ecosystems. Students will learn about the interrelationships between these elements and their impact on the landscape. Classes may include both theoretical lectures and practical exercises, including elements of working with maps, interpreting satellite data, or preliminary laboratory analyses, developing skills in collecting and presenting geographic data. |
