W ramach modułu omówione zostaną następujące zagadnienia: język jako narzędzie poznania i komunikacji; rozmaitość i jedność nauk; klasyfikacja nauk; cechy poznania naukowego; metodologiczna specyfika badań nad rodziną; badania jakościowe i ilościowe; metody i techniki badawcze; organizacja badań oraz opracowanie i interpretacja ich wyników.
