Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module aims to acquire knowledge and teaching skills in the field of fundamental gravitational phenomena and selected astronomical issues. Participants deepen their understanding of the laws governing the movement of celestial bodies, learn about the structure of the Solar System and the structure of the Universe. During the workshops, students will learn about the modern model of the structure and evolution of the Universe, and will also become familiar with the concepts of astronomical unit and light year and will use them to determine distances in astronomy. The content implemented within the module is consistent with the current core curriculum applicable in secondary schools at basic and advanced levels.
