Module name: Ecosystems under anthropogenic pressure
Module code: 1BL_23_39
Programme code: W2-S1BI19.2025
Semester:
  • summer semester 2027/2028
  • winter semester 2027/2028
Language of instruction: depending on the choice
Form of verification: course work
ECTS credits: 3
Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module aims to familiarise the student with the new ecological systems in industrial regions and to provide knowledge on atmospheric pollution, soil degradation, and circulation of xenobionts in the trophic chain. Students will learn mechanisms of anthropopressure and methods of studying this phenomenon and identifying various factors of anthropopressure, types of transformations of phytocenoses forest and non-forest phytocenoses. The module introduces the knowledge of changes in the abundance of insects in biocenoses with particular emphasis on the gradations and principles of the division of selected groups of insects about the type of diseases they cause.
