Purpose and description of the content of education: | The module is dedicated to poetry and poetics, with a particular focus on poetic language and its analysis. The course introduces students to essential aspects of poetics, including figurative language (e.g., metaphor, metonymy, symbol), prosodic elements (e.g., rhythm, rhyme, meter), verse forms, and structural and phonetic features of poetry. The aim of the module is to develop students' ability to analyze and interpret poetry using the tools of poetics. Classes include the analysis of poetic texts, discussions on their structure and meaning, the study of poetics-related concepts, and the practical application of poetic terminology in interpretation. |
