Celem modułu jest zdobycie podstawowej, ogólnej wiedzy z zakresu psychologii – dyscypliny naukowej szczególnie istotnej dla studiów nad rodziną. Omówiona zostanie terminologia, kierunki i najważniejsze zagadnienia psychologii (biologiczne podstawy zachowania, procesy poznawcze, emocje, motywacje, osobowość, psychopatologia, psychoterapia, kontekst środowiskowy i społeczny).
