Purpose and description of the content of education: | The Economics of Sustainable Development focuses on the analysis of how the principles of sustainable development can be implemented in economic practice in order to achieve a balance between economic growth, environmental protection and social justice. Students will become familiar with key concepts such as green economy, circular economy, corporate social responsibility and sustainable resource management. The subject aims to develop skills in analyzing the economic challenges and opportunities related to sustainable development, which is necessary for designing and implementing sustainable practices in the tourism industry. The subject is interdisciplinary, combining elements of economics, ecology, sociology and tourism management. During the classes, students will analyze concrete examples of the implementation of the principles of sustainable development in various sectors of the economy, participate in discussions and prepare projects related to sustainable development in tourism. The main objective of the Economics of Sustainable Development subject is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and analyze the economic aspects of sustainable development, with particular emphasis on the tourism industry, to familiarize students with concepts and theories in the field of sustainable development economics and to develop skills in analyzing the economic challenges and opportunities related to sustainable development. |
