Purpose and description of the content of education:
The subject focuses on the analysis of legal regulations concerning the organization and conduct of tourism activities, consumer protection, tourist safety and legal liability of entities operating in the tourism sector. Students will become familiar with key legal acts, such as tourism law, consumer law, labor law and international conventions and agreements regulating tourism activities. The subject develops the ability to interpret legal regulations and their application in professional practice. During the classes, students will analyze specific legal cases, participate in discussions and prepare projects related to the application of legal regulations in the tourism industry. The main objective of the subject Fundamentals of Law in Tourism is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and apply legal regulations in the tourism industry, familiarize students with legal acts regulating tourism activities and develop the ability to interpret legal regulations and their application in professional practice.
