Purpose and description of the content of education:
1 489 / 5 000 The subject Financing Tourism Projects focuses on issues related to obtaining, managing and using financial resources for the implementation of projects in the tourism sector. During the classes, students will become familiar with various sources of financing, including EU funds, national support programs, private investments and crowdfunding. The subject also includes cost analysis, budgeting, financial risk management and preparation of documentation necessary to apply for funds. The subject is practical in nature, combining elements of finance, project management and the specifics of the tourism industry. Students will analyze case studies, participate in workshops and prepare their own financial projects to acquire the skills necessary for effective financial management in tourism. The main objective of the subject Financing Tourism Projects is to familiarize students with various sources of financing for tourism projects - understanding how to obtain funds from EU funds, national programs, private investors and other sources, developing skills in planning and managing the project budget - learning to create realistic budgets, cost control and financial risk management and preparing students to prepare application documentation - learning to write applications for funding, financial reports and other documents necessary to obtain funds.
