Purpose and description of the content of education: | The Ethics in Sustainable Tourism subject focuses on the analysis of ethical aspects related to the development and practice of sustainable tourism. During the course, students will become familiar with the ethical principles that should guide activities in the tourism industry, with particular emphasis on social, environmental and cultural responsibility. The subject will equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make ethical decisions in the context of sustainable tourism development, as well as to shape attitudes of responsibility and ethical awareness among future employees of the tourism industry. The subject is interdisciplinary in nature, combining elements of ethics, philosophy, tourism management and environmental protection. During the course, students will analyze specific cases of ethical dilemmas in tourism and prepare projects related to ethical tourism management. The main objective of the Ethics in Sustainable Tourism subject is to familiarize students with the ethical principles in sustainable tourism and their importance for the development of the industry, develop the ability to analyze ethical dilemmas in tourism and make decisions in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, and prepare students to identify and solve ethical problems related to sustainable tourism. |
