Purpose and description of the content of education: | The subject Tourism and Cultural Assets focuses on the analysis of the relationship between tourism and cultural heritage, including monuments, museums, local traditions and customs. During classes, students will become familiar with the impact of tourism on cultural assets, as well as methods of their protection and sustainable use. The subject will equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to plan and organize tourism based on cultural heritage, while respecting the principles of protection and social responsibility. The subject combines elements of cultural studies, history, tourism management and protection of cultural heritage. The main objective of the subject Tourism and Cultural Assets is to familiarize students with the characteristics of cultural assets and their role in tourism, to develop skills in planning and organizing tourism based on cultural heritage, taking into account the principles of protection and sustainable development, and to prepare students to identify and solve problems related to the use of cultural assets in tourism. |
